Product Ethos

Despite being a small artisan business, since launching we have always set out to produce a range of products that not only looks beautiful, works brilliantly but also ensures, where possible, that all ingredients and packaging are sourced responsibly and are fully recyclable.

Our range is handmade, blended and packaged in small batches in Somerset, and all products carry Cosmetic Certification.

Ingredients

We are proud that the very best natural ingredients are blended within our products, and that they do not contain any parabens, are SLS free, vegan and cruelty-free.

The Hand & Body Scrubs are plastic free and do not contain micro beads.

The majority of our base ingredients are organic and the wonderful natural Vitamin E oil blended within the Sugar Scrubs is made from Soybean and is far more potent than the synthetic versions available.  It is easily absorbed by the skin, has anti-inflammatory properties and is in the highest concentration we can find.

Our Sugar Scrubs are fragranced using essential oils or Absolutes and we are proud that the majority of these are organic and it goes without saying, of the highest quality.

The Sugar Scrubs do contain a small amount of preservative: Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin.  This is a broad-spectrum preservative, is palm-free, formaldehyde-free, vegan and biodegradable.  As multi use Hand and Body care products we felt it was essential this was included to minimise the risk of bacteria, yeast or mould fungi.

Packaging

The Hand Scrubs use a 150g aluminium tin which is recyclable, reusable and contains an EPE foam lid liner.

Each Hand Scrub is packaged in a blue outer box made from recycled eco-fibre with a 100% recycled content and produced using 100% green hydroelectricity.

The Body Scrubs are presented in a 400g Kilner Jar which is reusable or recyclable.

Our Nourishing Hand Oil is packaged in a 30ml blue glass bottle with a bamboo closure.  The glass bottle and bamboo pipette can be recycled; however, the rubber top may not be accepted in some areas.  The Nourishing Hand Oil is presented in a kraft tube which is also fully recyclable.
